What is your most favorite heroes?

Judges 6:1-16
Some of us probably have our own heroes. It can be Superman, Batman or others. But for the Israel, when they were in Midians, they were suffering and unfortunately they were waiting for 7 years before they cried to God. And God has sent Gideon to set them free from Midians. If only they were looking for God earlier, they willnever experienced 7 years under the Midians.
Let's learn to surrender everything into God's hand. We shall not wait for long time and having a lot of troubles.

What will you do if this is your last day?

If we have already know about the time, about the day, we will well prepared for it.
In Matthew 25:1-13, it tells about Ten Virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridgeroom. It is alo said that five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Perhaps we often heard about this. It is said that we have to stay awake and always prepare ourselves because we don't know the time and we don't know the day. To be stay awake doesn't mean that we are not allowed to do something else. Like the five wise virgins, they were also fall asleep while waiting for the bridgeroom. But when the time has come, they are well prepared. So let's always prepare, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

What will you do if you find large amount of money in front of you?

It is normal for us, if we found the money that is belong to nobody, we will pick it up without further questions, right?
There were couple of workers that building a house. They worked in the different part of the house. Bob was working on the roof, while John was working at the ground. While they were working, Bob was trying to disturb John. He picked up a coin and threw it to John. John saw the coin in front of him and he just picked it up and continue his work. Second time, Bob threw another coin and Bob did the same thing. He just picked it up and continue his work. Finally, Bob picked up a stone and threw it to John. The stone hit exactly on his head. John has finally looked above for being hit by a stone.
Sometimes, we are similar with John. When everything goes right, we receive blessings from God, we forgot to look above. We just receive and continue our works. But when some bad things happened, it is so easy for us to look above, to seek God's face. Let's learn to give thanks to God in every situation. As it is said in Ephesians 5:20: Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

What is your most favorite animal stories when you were still in Kindergarten?

There is an animal story about Mouse, Chicken, Goat, Lamb and Cow. They lived happily in one farm with Mr. and Mrs. Farmer. One day, Mouse has become panic because one big snake has suddenly appear in the farm.
"Snake's in the house... Snake's in the house" cried Mouse seeking for help. Mouse has come to Chicken, but Chicken said it is none of his business. Other animals also did the same thing. They didn't care about the Mouse's problem. Mouse felt abandoned and desperately, he just returned to his hole.
That night, apparently Snake bite Mrs. Farmer. She fell sick and it's not getting better because of the poison. Sick people needs a warm soup, so Mr. Farmer picked up Chicken and make it as a soup. While Mrs. Farmer still sick, all of families and relatives has come and Mr. Farmer need to prepare the meals. So he cut Goat and Lamb and made it become delicious food. The illness of Mrs. Farmer has getting worse and finally she passed away. More and more people came for the furneral and Mr. Farmer cut Cow as the meal.
What we can learn from this story that we have to help one another. If one of us is having trouble, we cannot just say it's not our business, instead we are willing to help and support him. Because one problem from one of us can bring a deep impact to the whole class. As it is said on Galatians 6:2, Bear one another's burden, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

What is the differences between Happiness and Joy?

Happiness is ...
When the circumtances were right.
When we feel happy.
When our friend happy.
When we are on the way to our holiday's destination.
When we hang out with some good friends with a nice car.
When good things happened...

But, Joy is related with strength...
When Paul was imprison, experienced torturement and bad things happened on him while he was on jail, he can feel joy. Joy that comes from God. It strengthen him to walk through difficult situation so that he can enjoy it.

When you were 5, where you mostly spend your time with you dad on the weekend?

There was a story about little Hanny and his dad. Hanny loves to go with his dad on the weekend. He really liked Donald Duck, so he just went to Disneyland with his dad every week.
On one particular day, there was a big carnival and all of the disney's character has come. Little Hanny felt really enthusiastic to go and as usual he came with his dad. He wanted to see Donald Duck, his favorite character.
But it seemed too many people on that spot, so that Little Hanny only see a little bit. He felt disappointed while he couldn't find Donald Duck. But his father said, "I can see Donald Duck from here. Just wait, he will come to you". Little Hanny just wait and wait and wait... but Donald Duck never appeared. He just asked his dad again, "Where is Donald, dad?" His dad replied, "Just wait my son... wait, he'll come in a minute. Dad can see him from here" Ofcourse, because he was short, he couldn't see Donald, while his dad can see it from a far. After long time, finally Little Hanny can see Donald.
It is the same as God's sight is different than ours. God can see our whole life. When we become success, when we married, when we will have children and when we die. God's time is different with ours. If he said that we have to wait, means we need to wait until His time, cause He made all things beautiful in His time...
Even sometimes it beyond our sight, just believe on Him. Because His Plan in our life is beautiful. Amen.
